Hogyan ismerhetjük meg szűkebb és tágabb környezetünk történelmét, az interneten szabadon elérhető adatbázisok segítségével? Az interaktív előadáson bárki kipróbálhatja, mit és hogyan lehet elérni angol és magyar nyelven a múltunkról. Igény szerint adaptálható különböző települések helytörténeti megismerése számára is. Az előadást középiskolás diákoknak ajánljuk.

A német nyelv régen és ma

Az előadás a német nyelv szerepéről szól az egykori és a mai Magyarországon. Megvizsgáljuk a német nyelvhasználat jelentőségét, elterjedését a monarchiabeli Magyarországon, beleértve a magyar nyelvre kifejtett hatását is. Kitérünk a germansztikai oktatás változásaira az elmúlt évtizedekben és a német nyelv mai helyzetére, illetve jövőbeli esélyeire Magyarországon.  Az előadást középiskolás diákoknak, és 18 éven felülieknek ajánljuk.

Az előadás ismerteti a többnyelvűvé válás lehetőségeit, módjait és folyamatát. Bemutatja azokat a nyelvi jellegzetességeket, amelyek a több nyelv egyidejű elsajátítása miatt természetesek.Rávilágít a kognitív előnyökre, és megpróbálja eloszlatni a létező félelmeket és mítoszokat a témában. Segítséget nyújt szülőknek, nagyszülőknek a gyermek helyes kezelésében a nyelvi fejlődése során. Az előadást felnőtteknek ajánljuk. Egyetemistáknak, szülőknek, nagyszülőknek.

The bilingual brain – visual word recognition of Hungarian-English bilinguals

Word recognition includes all mental activity from the perception of the word to the identification of its lexical representation that is available in the mental lexicon. With an electrophysiological (EEG) study the ‘what’, ‘when’, ‘where’, and ‘how’ can be revealed in visual word recognition. In lexical decision tasks, letter strings are presented and participants decide whether the letter strings are words or not while response latencies and accuracy are measured. Recommended for secondary school students.
