The presentation draws attention to the importance of clean water, one of Earth's greatest treasures. In relation to water, it presents various water pollutants, with a particular focus on the issues caused by plastics, which are a current concern. The ever-increasing production and use of plastics, leading to a surge in waste generation, are causing significant environmental problems worldwide. It highlights the physiological effects of microplastics entering our waters, and current research related to this topic will be presented.
