At the beginning of the 20th century, café culture was dominant. The significant creators of the Nyugat (West) journal, including Ady, Csáth, Karinthy, Kosztolányi, Krúdy, spent even their nights in cafés. Not only have numerous anecdotes survived about their adventures, but their works also contain the „imprints” of these legendary years. The performance, seasoned with period illustrations and biographical stories, aims to speak about modern Hungarian literature.
