Starting university life is a huge milestone, but in the first few weeks, it’s completely natural to feel a bit lost amidst the bureaucracy, deadlines, and new surroundings. The good news is that at Pannon University, you have a complete support network behind you.

🏛️ 1. Education Directorate (ED) – The guardians of your academic affairs

Whether it's using Neptun, course registration, applying for student ID cards, obtaining official certificates, or the enrolment process, the staff at the Directorate of Education are your reliable point of contact. If you encounter any administrative hurdles, they hold the key to the solution.

  • What can they help with? Neptune administration, enrolment documents, subject recognition, student status certificate.
  • Good advice. It's worth saving your academic administrator's name and contact details in your phone during the first week!

🚀 2. Career and Student Services Centre (KHSZK) – Supporters of your personal and professional development

The primary goal of KHSZK is to make your student career successful and smooth. They don't just help you transition between university years and the job market, but also to remain balanced in your everyday life.

  • What can they help with? Individual career and psychological counselling, self-awareness and skills development training, intermediation of fresh job opportunities, and preparation for the latest labour market expectations.
  • Good advice. It's worth taking advantage of their training and advisory services right from the first semester.

🏠 3. Dormitory Directorate – Everything about dormitories and accommodation

If you'll be living in a dormitory, the Dormitory Directorate will be the administrative centre of your second home. They coordinate everything from the assessment of applications to room allocation and the logistics of moving in, so you won't have to worry about your accommodation for a single minute.

  • What can they help with? Dormitory applications and appeals, move-in dates, dormitory regulations, room and infrastructure matters.
  • Good advice. Keep an eye on the deadlines, as competition for college places is fierce!

🤝 4. Student Self-Government (HÖK) – Students for Students

As the members of HÖK are students themselves, they know exactly what you're going through. They represent your interests in university decision-making, help with applications for social and academic scholarships, and are also responsible for the coolest social programmes.

  • What can they help with? Student advocacy, applying for scholarships and grants, Freshers' week, organising university parties and faculty balls.
  • Good advice. Look for the Students' Union peer supporters and mentor students, because they will answer even your smallest question directly and informally!
