The successful admission streak of the University of Pannonia continues in the clearing procedure, following its outstanding results in the main admissions procedure. A total of 687 applications were submitted to the institution's programmes, which is one of the highest clearing procedure figures in more than a decade.
The University of Pannonia significantly strengthened its position even in the general admissions procedure for the 2026/2027 academic year: 2,484 applicants were admitted, which is 400 more, or 19 percent higher, than a year earlier. Meanwhile, the national average expansion was 6 percent, meaning the institution achieved one of the largest growths in domestic higher education. The momentum also continued in the clearing procedure.

The greatest interest was in the programmes of the Faculty of Humanities, which received 423 applications. The primary school teaching BA and the psychology degree programme stood out. The programmes of the Faculty of Business and Economics received 101 applications, the Faculty of Information Technology 81, the Faculty of Engineering 61, and the Zalaegerszeg Faculty of Business Administration 21.
Both the general and the clearing procedure admission data show that interest in the University of Pannonia continues to grow. It will only become clear after the announcement of the supplementary admission thresholds how many students can begin their university studies in September.
