At the Faculty of Economics We offer internationally recognised, AACSB-accredited business, management, and economics courses. Our training portfolio is extremely broad: from higher education vocational training, through Bachelor's and Master's degrees, to doctoral studies, we offer numerous opportunities, but you can also develop yourself with our specialised further education or short cycle courses.

In February 2025, we achieved AACSB accreditation, the most internationally recognised and long-standing accreditation in economic education, placing us in the „Premier League” of business schools. AACSB accreditation confirms that our innovative educational approach and supportive environment provide excellent conditions for our students' professional development.

Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at Pannon University has been a key player in domestic technical higher education for over half a century. Our teaching and research activities are realised by integrating the latest technologies and industrial trends, with a particular emphasis on supporting practice-oriented training, the development of problem-solving skills, and strengthening innovation capabilities. Our students can acquire modern, marketable knowledge in in technical and natural sciences training areas, where modern technologies and industrial practice are closely linked with theoretical foundations. The laboratory background and close cooperation with industrial partners ensure that our degrees are competitive and internationally recognised.

Our training offering's quality international accreditation also confirmsour chemical engineering training is IChemE (Institution of Chemical Engineers) holds a certification which ensures that our students will obtain a globally competitive and recognised degree.

Faculty of Technical Informatics

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (MIK) of Pannon University is the only institution in Transdanubia to have earned the MTA „Excellent Research Location” its qualification in the field of IT. This means that learning at the faculty is not just about textbooks, but about real IT and engineering developments and future-oriented technologies.

Our degree programmes – in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, Engineering Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science – provide the knowledge that prepares our students to respond to the most current industrial and development challenges.

Our instructors and researchers focus on topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, machine vision and image processing, health informatics, virtual and augmented reality, electrical power systems, discrete mathematics and optimisation, and dynamic systems and control theory. Computer networks are also a prominent area, as our CISCO Networking Academy centre ensures both software and network infrastructure are a focus.

The friendly university environment, modern laboratories, involvement in industrial projects, research, and community experiences ensure that MIK students can start building their future while still at university.

We pay special attention to ensuring that talented students can flourish in individual projects, student research activities (TDK), or summer workshops – even within the creative technological spaces of the CODE digital experience centre. Faculty of Agriculture

Faculty of Economics and Rural Development Zalaegerszeg from 01.08.2020 The one non-Veszprém-based faculty of Pannon University. Our earliest predecessor was the Zalaegerszeg Institute of the College of Finance and Accountancy, founded in 1971, which played a significant role in economics education in the countryside. Many of our former students can be found today among the leading economists in the profession.

Among our instructors, you will find both those with decades of practical experience and teachers experienced in scientific research and its successful application. In addition to the mandatory curriculum, regular professional lectures also help to expand our students' knowledge. We were also at the forefront of introducing the dual training system. During their studies, dual students work as interns at companies and business organisations, thus possessing significant professional practice and corporate experience even as recent graduates.

One of the most anticipated events twice a year is the VEN – Veszprém University Days – which is Hungary's first university festival, and a student rector is eventually chosen through the competition of four teams.

Since 2022, the town has been home to the Pannon University, Ajka Campus, which, with its expanding courses, student-centred approach, and community life, has become an important educational venue in the region.

The town's past and values are preserved by the Town Museum, the Crypt Factory, and the Mining Museum. The centre of cultural life is the Nagy László Cultural Centre, which also welcomes visitors with theatre performances, concerts, and cinema.
