In my presentation, I will talk comprehensibly for schoolchildren about the PCR measurement, its process, its usefulness, and associated laboratory work, which has been widely discussed in recent years. Genetic material (RNA, DNA) is invisible to the eye, but with the help of today's laboratory equipment and methods, its presence can be detected, and we can infer what groups of organisms might live/have lived or might be/have been present in a given environment (e.g., a lake).
We recommend the performance for 11th and 12th-grade pupils.
