Sport and learning

We place great emphasis on ensuring that everyone can find an exercise routine suitable for their level of fitness. Nearly 50 forms of exercise Students can choose from these, in addition to the theoretical courses offered by the Institute of Physical Education and Sports, during their studies within and beyond the physical education subject.

Sports and Learning Programme

The Sport and Learning Programme is successfully operating at Pannon University, aiming to support the academic progress of student-athletes. The Sports Scholarship provides individual study plans and mentoring to help students balance their competitive sports with their studies. In recent years, many athletes who have achieved outstanding results have received support, including Olympic champion open-water swimmer Kristóf Rasovszky.

University teams and competitive sports

The university has rowing, volleyball, basketball, and futsal teams that students can join and participate in the MEFOB (Hungarian University and College National Championship) competitions. In addition, competitive sports are also possible through the Veszprém University Sports Club and the Veszprém University and Student Athletics Club, representing the club's colours.

Brick Zone, the Pannon University gym

The 400 m2 gym, designed in a „loft” style, also features an atrium courtyard. In addition to classic weight training machines and free weights suitable for bodybuilding, the equipment has been expanded with frames essential for functional training, bodyweight equipment, and modern air-resistance cardio machines.
