From September 2026, the University of Pannonia will add new courses to its offerings to enable students to enter the rapidly changing labour market with competitive skills. The new master's degree courses in communication and media science, artificial intelligence and computer science, and the new technical manager's bachelor's degree course in technical management, which will also be offered at the Zalaegerszeg training centre from next academic year, will offer modern, practical knowledge to those who want to consciously build their professional future.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communication and Media Studies (MA)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Where? University of Pannonia, Faculty of Humanities, Veszpr\u00e9m<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The constant transformation of the communication and media industry requires new professionals who not only understand the effective use of digital tools, but are also able to analyse the social and psychological impact of media systems. You will acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge that will enable you to communicate in the digital space in an authentic, creative and responsible way - whether it is media planning, public relations or content creation. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and focuses on modern challenges in communication, including the impact of algorithms and AI on media. The theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the course will enable students to enter the public sphere as informed and responsible actors. The Master's programme trains professionals who are able to interpret and shape communication systems, manage complex professional situations and actively contribute to shaping the public, social and media environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artificial Intelligence Computer Scientist (MSc)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Artificial Intelligence is one of the most dynamically developing fields - and now the University of Pannonia is responding to this demand with a new Master's degree in AI. The newly launched course will provide comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge on the methods and practical applications of artificial intelligence. Students will learn about advanced techniques in neural networks and deep learning, theoretical and practical approaches to data-driven machine learning and reinforcement learning, as well as principles and methods for developing machine vision, generative AI, LLM-based solutions and AI agent systems. The course will cover the whole process of AI systems development, including the basics of the MLOps approach, the use of state-of-the-art AI development environments, and the application of GPU-based computing technologies. Upon completion of the training, graduates can take up jobs as AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Deep Learning Engineer, LLM Specialist or AI Systems Engineer. In addition, the knowledge acquired will provide a good basis for further studies in a PhD programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new degree course is a unique combination of economics, organisation and engineering. We are training professionals who will bridge the gap between production and management. The practice-oriented training allows you to put what you learn in theory into practice in real projects. Factory visits, field trips, case studies and guest lectures by company experts all help you to gain practical experience. Business skills combined with a confident technical knowledge can be applied in a wide range of fields, so our graduates have a wide range of job opportunities after completing their bachelor's degree.
