Faculty of Economics<\/h2>\n

At the Faculty of Business and Economics, we offer internationally recognised, AACSB-accredited business, management and economics courses<\/strong> in Hungarian and English. Our training portfolio is extremely broad: from higher education vocational courses, through bachelor and master courses, to doctoral studies, we offer a wide range of options, but you can also develop your skills in our specialised further education courses or short cycle courses.<\/p>\n

In February 2025, we achieved AACSB accreditation, the most internationally recognised and long-standing accreditation in economic education, placing us in the \u201ePremier League\u201d of business schools. AACSB accreditation confirms that our innovative educational approach and supportive environment provide excellent conditions for our students' professional development.<\/p>\n

In a student-friendly, direct atmosphere, smaller group sizes allow for the development of individual talents. Talent management plays a key role for us: we support our students' development through active scientific student society activities, participation in case study competitions, and various scholarships. For more than half a century, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pannonia has been a key player in the field of higher technical education in Hungary. Our teaching and research activities integrate the latest technologies and industrial trends, with a focus on practice-oriented education, the development of problem-solving thinking and the strengthening of innovation skills. Our students acquire state-of-the-art, marketable knowledge in technical and scientific fields<\/strong>, where modern technologies and industrial practice are closely linked to theoretical foundations. Our laboratory background and close collaboration with industrial partners ensure that our degrees are competitive and internationally recognised.<\/p>\n

Faculty of Technical Informatics<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Computer Engineering of the University of Pannonia is the only institution in Transdanubia to have earned the MTA's \u201eOutstanding Research Site\u201d<\/strong> certification in the field of IT. This means that learning at the faculty is not just about textbooks, but about real IT and engineering developments and future-oriented technologies.<\/p>\n

Our degree programmes \u2013 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, Engineering Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science \u2013 provide the knowledge that prepares our students to respond to the most current industrial and development challenges.<\/p>\n

Our instructors and researchers focus on topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, machine vision and image processing, health informatics, virtual and augmented reality, electrical power systems, discrete mathematics and optimisation, and dynamic systems and control theory. Computer networks are also a prominent area, as our CISCO Networking Academy centre ensures both software and network infrastructure are a focus.<\/p>\n

The friendly university environment, modern laboratories, involvement in industrial projects, research, and community experiences ensure that MIK students can start building their future while still at university.<\/p>\n

We pay special attention to ensuring that talented students can flourish in individual projects, student research activities (TDK), or summer workshops \u2013 even within the creative technological spaces of the CODE digital experience centre. Faculty of Agriculture<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

From 01.08.2020, the Faculty of Business Administration in Zalaegerszeg is the only faculty of the University of Pannonia not based in Veszpr\u00e9m<\/strong>. Our earliest predecessor was the Zalaegerszeg Institute of the College of Finance and Accounting, founded in 1971, which played a major role in the education of economists in the countryside. Many of our former graduates are among the leading economists in the profession today.<\/p>\n

Among our instructors, you will find both those with decades of practical experience and teachers experienced in scientific research and its successful application. In addition to the mandatory curriculum, regular professional lectures also help to expand our students' knowledge. We were also at the forefront of introducing the dual training system. During their studies, dual students work as interns at companies and business organisations, thus possessing significant professional practice and corporate experience even as recent graduates.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Circular Economy University Centre<\/h2>\n

Study at the University of Pannonia University Centre in Nagykanizsa and build a solid foundation for a future-proof career!

There are five fields of study, 8 bachelor's and 2 master's degrees<\/strong> to choose from if you are interested in economics, IT, engineering or water management.
The University Centre for the Circular Economy has committed its teaching and research community to a set of challenges along its training portfolio that seeks to address many of the current sustainability issues affecting the economy. With a focus on 5 main thematic areas:
renewable energy, waste management, water technologies, sustainable tourism, sustainable urban development, we also offer courses that are unique in the country<\/strong>, such as the Sustainable and Circular Tourism Bachelor's degree or the Master's degree in Circular Economy Design and Development Engineering.
